Powerful Information At Your Fingertips

As was the case with many black racers of his era, Flournoy's drag racing career was primarily a hobby. He was a mechanic for Pacific Bell for 18 years. He was contracted through American Auto Service as a fleet mechanic. Having a lot of mechanical experience really helped his racing activities, since he basically did all the work on his own cars. Pacbel

You must visit any Oregon DMV officein person to replace a lost, destroyed, or stolen ID card. Replacements cannot be made online or by mail. You will need the same documents as required to renew your ID card as well as a check or cash to pay the $39.50 replacement fee.

If your ID is going to expire within the next 12 months, you may be able to renew it instead of replacing it.

NOTE: If you are out-of-state, you will need to wait until you return to Oregon to have your ID card replaced.

Change Your Name or Oregon Address

If you have moved, you can update the address on your Oregon ID card using the online address change system on the Oregon DMV website.

If you want your ID card to reflect your address change, you'll need to request a duplicate. Follow the instructions above.

If you have changed your name, you must go in person to and Oregon DMV office with official documents proving your name change and pay the applicable fees. If there was a misspelling that is the Oregon DMV's fault, you must go through the application process, but you will not be charged for a new identification card.

Was this system still in the factory configuration or had
you changed some drivers, maybe even installed windows
fresh?

If you had installed nVidia drivers, the full package from
nVidia.com, the download creates a folder on the OS
partition, typically C:nvidia in which it puts the files
prior to executing the setup routine. You might check
there, if they are present then reinstall that.

If that is not present, get the newest driver for the
chipset (motherboard) from nVidia.com. Forget video for a
moment, get the full chipset package as it may have video
driver included. Prior to installing that, since it may be
a different version you would want to go into add/remove
programs and choose to uninstall the nVidia drivers - all of
them, there may be a window where you checkmark what to
remove. When that finishes, you will need reboot the
system. When system reboots, if it detects hardware and
asks for drivers, just cancel that as many times as
necessary.

When it has finished nagging for drivers, then install the
drivers you'd downloaded from nVidia.com. All of them,
though it's your preference whether to install the IDE
driver - go ahead and try it, you can uninstall later if it
is problematic.

Unfortunately nVidia would not provide support for this as
they only sell chipsets to the board/system manufacturer or
OEM which is HP.

nVidia does have a lot of customers and forums with people
owning their products so you may instead find a lot of peer
support, including someone who has resolved your problem.
